Below is a list of the major private sale websites.

Some are more effective than others but unfortunately none can advertise your property on (Rightmove, FindaProperty, PropertyFinder or Primelocation) - Is this important?

 

TheLittleHouseCompany - One of the oldest and most well establish private house sale sites. £179 (includes For Sale Board) will enable you to reach 3 million buyers on over 500 websites, including fish4homes.
MyPropertyForSale - Been helping private sellers cut out the middleman since 2001 and are one of the market leaders. They have the added benefit of ranking well on Google so potential buyers have more chance of finding your property. £139 will get your property advertised on fish4homes and their extensive network of partner websites. A very good value service!
HouseWeb - Another leading private sale websites that's been around since the beginning. A typical advert costs £199 but that includes a personalised For Sale Board and your property stays advertised until sold.
MoveHomeOnline - Well respected site with a good reputation. Thousands of adverts, all put up by private sellers. They are one of the big players and worth a look. A basic listing is free but then you have to pay for additional features.
PropertyBroker - M25 specialist that provide a service that includes free photography and For Sale Board. Their service costs £137.
Buy it Privately - Established private sale website. Their portal pack costs £89 and this will get you wide coverage of your property (inc. fish4homes).
Netmovers - Another one of the leading sites. They also advertise overseas property. Their service costs £99.
Homesell.co.uk - Their basic packages start from £19 but it costs £199 to have your property advertised on fish4homes and their portal network.
PrivateHQ - Another London specialist. Over and above the usual private sale services they have a handy "floor plan wizard" and directory of recommended property service suppliers. We've also done a little writing for them on occasion. £75 will get you on their extensive network of marketing channels.
PrivateHouseMove - Offer a free advertising package but charge £99 if you want your property to be advertised on their partner sites - a recommended option.
KentHouseAds - Great local site that specifically targets Kent. Their USP is that they promote the site in the local papers. This attracts a focused audience of local buyers. We've also done a little writing for them and certainly recommend them if you're selling in Kent. £99 will see your property advertised until sold and included a For Sale Board.
home.co.uk - Text advert is free, one photo costs £30 (with £10 for every additional photo). Home.co.uk power the property search engine for TheMoveChannel and The Independent newspaper so your property will be advertised there as well as on Home.co.uk site.
HouseKeys - One of the more effective free sites. Their business model is based on making money from advertising so they can afford to provide you with a fairly substantial service for nothing.
Home4.net - Advertise any sale, rental or overseas property or development for a one off fee. Basic free ad option and low cost sales and rentals packs, discount conveyancing and secure online ordering.
Ownerhome - offers a professional online property marketing service. Find your perfect property or advertise your house, home, flat, apartment or business, for sale or to let anywhere in the U.K or Worldwide.
SavvyHomeSell - Listing your property on SavvyHomeSell.com allows you to cut out expensive intermediaries. All you pay is £11.88 with SavvyHomeSell.com - no final commission or other hidden costs.
Sell your property without an estate agent - Sell direct to buyers and cut out the middle man. From as little as £89.99 you can advertise your home to millions of potential buyers, through major portals.
