I wish our buyers had found your site before dealing with National Home Buyers. They (National Home Buyers) have strung our chain along for 7 weeks after promising to have it done in 4.
Excuse after excuse came and then finally when they said they were ready to exchange they dropped the bombshell “but our offer has reduced by £30,000”.
Our buyer even said there was a hint of enjoyment in Carol’s (From National Home Buyers) voice as she crushed the dreams of so many.
I had a feeling something was wrong when one of the excuses was that they were awaiting the return of a local search. When they claimed that was the delay a week later, we called the local Council who let us know “well it is was only ordered yesterday”.
They basically strung the chain along with a plan of creating desperation and profiting at the final moment. Unfortunately our chain can’t take a £30k hit. I wonder how they sleep at night.
Another delay was that it took 5 days to courier the signed contracts from National Home Buyers to their Solicitors.
Seriously there should be laws against companies like that.
I noticed that they also promote their membership of the APBA on their Website which is the Approved Property Buyers Association. A little investigation showed that both reside at the same address.
Very Misleading!
Anyway luckily our buyers still want to buy our house but do not have access to this resource, so would it possible to send me the names of some reputable fast sale property buyers that can get the chain back on track. I will pass the information onto them.
