Thank you very much for your prompt response. We will carefully consider the way forward here. She has not indeed signed any agreement as yet with the agent, indeed she is shocked that the agent is marketing her property as she still has to sign off the details and sign their agreement. Presumably this would not give them a case to answer to anyway if there was nothing written down or signed……

Rest assured we will tread carefully!
