Hi there
Firstly thank you for a great impartial site, it really gave us an insight into the mindfield of online conveyancing. We were rather sceptical of using an online conveyancing team as opposed to local solicitors, especialy when we said to our estate agents we would be considering one. There was raised eyebrows, tuts and an overwhelming ‘I wouldn’t do it.. you get what you pay for…they won’t talk to us...’ the list goes on, not to mention the commission they miss out by recommending a local solicitor!
Thanks to your site we could do our research and found a great company ‘ConveyQuote’ in Newport, Wales. We had a welcome pack sent out quickly and in plain English which was very easy to read and understand. The inital phone contact was difficult as we couldn’t get through, but when we did, they were friendly and helpful.
We had quite a few people waiting in the ‘wings’ to say ‘I told you so’, if we had been ‘ripped off’, guess who are smug now!
ConveyQuote quoted us £400 less than 3 a local solititors and gave us very good attentive value for money. I can’t thank Phil Edwards, who I spoke with several times and his team enough. Mr Edwards really had our interests at heart and ensured exchange occured once every question he put to our vendors solictor were satisfied . I have since passed on ConveyQuote’s details to friends who are moving and I would highly recommend them.
Thanks again for your site
Yours Sincerely
Miss A Cohen and Mr A J Lazenby

Dear Miss A Cohen and Mr A J Lazenby – thank you so much for taking the time to write and for your kind words.
I have been trying for 3 years to show house movers that an alternative to the conveyancing status quo exists that will save them a heap of money without compromising quality.
I am extremely impressed that you were brave enough to buck the trend, take a chance and have reaped the benefits.
I would really love to help / convince more people to follow in your footsteps and I wonder if you would allow me to use your feedback on our site? I can of course keep your personal details private / change names etc. if you so desire.
If you are open to this please let me know. I would be most grateful for your assistance.
Kindest regards,
Gavin Brazg MSc Dip Arch (Editor)

Hi Gavin
It would be our pleasure for you to include our feedback for your site, you can keep our original details after all we stand by what we say. Until i visited your site I was always under the impression (delusion) that you needed to visit the solicitors, not so. More to the point which I forgot to mention in my feedback, Mr Lazenby lived not far from Leeds and myself in Northamptonshire and we still managed to exchange effortlessly. We pick up the keys on the 27th May.
Moving house can be costly and stressful, thanks to your site and ConveyQuote it made it a pleasure.
Any suggestions on changing an existing telephone number with British telecoms would be appreciated ![]()
Keep up the great work and Thanks again.
Alex Cohen
