I would like to apologise on behalf of TheAdvisory, both to Zoopla, and to our readers.
We have recently stated that private house sellers could gain access to Zoopla advertising, by advertising on partner sites Ebay, Gumtree and Google Maps. But it turns out the sources which gave us this information were misinformed as to the nature of these partnerships.
Zoopla & Partners
The partnerships are in fact one sided. Ebay, Gumtree, and Google Maps — no doubt seeking open with a good volume of properties for sale — have partnered with Zoopla on the basis that they display properties being advertised/marketed on the site, not the other way round.
Zoopla, Ebay & Gumtree
Ebay and Google Maps currently displays properties being sold and let by Zoopla, and Gumtree currently only displays properties that are for sale.
One last thing I’d like to mention is that the site has the best in class AVM (automated Valuation Model) – basically a computer program that can work out the value of your property.
I have written a review of the tool and how you can get free online house valuations here!
